It’s day 24 of what’s likely to be right around a 5 week passage. Tonight, after showers, the log showed less than 1000 miles to go!

Miles sailed: 3040

Engine hours: 40

Flying fish found dead on the side deck: 24 is the record for one morning

Highlights this past week:

  • Good sailing

  • Rainbow sighted tonight

  • Down to triple digits!

Gear issues:

  • Still dealing with chafe challenges on the mainsail.

We’re (generally) sleeping well, (usually) eating well, (frequently) sailing well, and smiling a lot. It’s not always comfortable, and not always easy.

But it’s pretty amazing.
