August Picture of the Month

This was actually a tough choice. Between working on the house in Vermont, taking Julian to college, and FINALLY getting to work on the boat this weekend, it's been a month of momentous moments, many of which were documented by photographs.

There was the "let's take a hose to the inside of our house" moments, in both the Vermont house AND inside Calypso, there was work done that required fresh water (and lots of it) - and the most efficient way to get that fresh water where we wanted it? Bring a hose inside and let loose.

There was the endless stream of packages arriving from Amazon (and the associated endless trips to Bed Bath and Beyond) with supposedly required items for Julian's college dorm room. I think his fridge is bigger than any boat fridge I've ever seen, but I digress. It's smaller than the one we have in the house, at least.

And finally this weekend, after close to 2 months away, we got down to Calypso to work on the long-neglected bunk project.

This wins the picture of the month award for so many reasons, but not the least has to be that when progress happens, it needs to be celebrated. Onward!
