Real Life?
So what IS “real life”?
(This is another one of my philosophically-skewed rambling posts, in case you couldn’t tell.)
When we were cruising and even once we returned to land, people used to talk to us about “real life.” As in, “Bet you’ve been happy to be away from real life” and “welcome back to real life".” So my cruising wasn’t real? Somehow because it wasn’t what everyone else was experiencing, it made it somehow less real?
(All of these images are from our cruises. They look pretty real to me.)
Here’s the real life I’m looking forward to getting to - the same “real life” land people think Is absolutely NOT real.
Sailing, friends, Vermont, sunsets over the water, exploring new places, working out on the side deck while we’re underway somewhere . . . yep, that sounds a lot like real life to me.
